# Get CRO Tokens

The native tokens of Cronos Chain (**CRO**) is **CRO**

To do most things on CRO, you will need to pay gas, which comes in the form of CRO.

You will also need the CRO version of any token you want to trade, stake etc. on CRO.

You can go a few ways about converting your tokens to CRO, but here are the ones we recommend:&#x20;

\&#xNAN;**-Step 3:** Swap BNB to USDC.\

\&#xNAN;**-Step 5:** Select USDC as the currency to be bridged and then type the amount.\
\&#xNAN;**-Step 6:** Select CRO network. Then Click on Approve and Next.\
\&#xNAN;**-Step 7:** Click on Confirm and approve the transcation.\
\&#xNAN;**-Step 8:** After USDC is bridged change to CRO Network\
\&#xNAN;**-Step 9:** Swap USDC to CRO.
