To get started on Sphynx Labs, you must set up a wallet that supports all of the blockchains Sphynx Labs supports. Wallets are available both on desktop computers and on smartphone devices. Next, you must choose the wallet that best fits your needs.

When you're setting up a wallet, be sure to:

  • ✅ Download and install only the latest version from an official source.

  • ✅ Follow the setup guide carefully.

  • ✅ Safely back up your recovery phrases.

  • ❌ NEVER share your recovery phrases with anyone, under any circumstances.

  • ❌ NEVER input your recovery phrase to a website or app, other than your wallet app.

Sphynx DeFi In-App Wallet.

Sphynx Defi App is an AIO multichain app that natively supports many cryptocurrency networks. The app was built from the ground up to make DeFi as pleasant as possible, giving a CEX-like experience in a DEX setting. Allowing the general public to have easy access to the more technical aspects of crypto.

  • Includes in-wallet Farming options

  • Includes in-wallet Staking options

  • Includes in-wallet NFT Staking options

"How to Create a Crypto Wallet With Sphynx DeFi App"

  • "Create a wallet"

  • "I already have a wallet"

"Create a Wallet"

Step 1: Click on "Create a wallet"

Step 2: Click on "I understand that if i lose my recovery words, I will not be able to access my wallet." and then "Continue"

Step 3: On the next page you will see your 12 unique word-keys which you will have to store somewhere safe. That's your seed-phrase and if someone gets access to those words your wallet might get compromised. Step 4: Enter the 3 words to confirm the captcha.

You have successfully created a wallet!

"I already have a wallet"

Click on "I already have a wallet"

If you are using a private key Name your wallet and paste the key. Usually its a 64 alphanumeric characters. Then click "Import"

If you are using a seed phrase Name your wallet and paste the key. Usually 12 (sometimes 24) words separated by single spaces. Then click "Import"

You have successfully imported a wallet!

PLEASE NOTE THAT NO MEMBER OF SPHYNX WILL ASK FOR THESE DETAILS AND THIS SHOULD ALL BE MANAGED ON YOUR OWN WHEN IMPORTING

“How Do I Set Up a Different Crypto Wallet?”

A good alternate wallet would be MetaMask, and the reason for that is not only is it secure and internationally recognized but also because it's available both as a mobile app and browser extension (currently supported in Chrome, Brave, and Safari browsers).

That being said, mobile app wallets such as Trust Wallet can be used on the web by connecting them via Wallet Connect or exporting your private key and importing it on MetaMask.

On the top right of your screen, you will see "Download". Please click that to proceed.

Once on the Download page, you will see three options. First is the option to download from the browser you're currently exploring the MetaMask page from, followed by iOS (Apple) and Android. We'll be navigating through the web extension installation for this example.

Clicking "Install MetaMask for Brave" will redirect us to a page where you'll see the option to "Add to Brave", as the current browser for this example is Brave.

You should now see this prompt, stating "Get Started".

Now here we have two options.

One is to import a wallet using your Secret Recovery Phrase (from another MetaMask wallet that you may have), and the other is to create an entirely new wallet.

We shall be using the latter for this example.

You will immediately be met with a warning prompt that we recommend you read through with your undivided attention. In addition, please never leave your mobile device or computer unattended in a public area, and please never share your wallet details, especially your private key, with anyone!

From there, you will be prompted to key in a password. Again, please be sure to make the password difficult.

The next page will load up an instructional video that we recommend you take a moment to watch. Again, it is critical that you read the safety warnings, as your funds may be at risk if you share your private key or secret recovery phrase with anyone!

From there, we will be directed to a screen showing us your secret words, which you will have to note down and then confirm the exact order of words on the next page. Once you have completed this task, you will be met with a screen indicating such.

Click "All Done" to head to our brand new wallet.

Congratulations, you are now looking at your brand-new wallet. The network by default is

Ethereum, and to purchase $SPHYNX; you will have to set up the Binance Smart Chain.

We must click on the drop-down menu set to "Ethereum Network" to do this.

Click on the "Custom RPC" option that you'll see at the bottom.

You will now be met with this screen, prompting you to enter the details. We will be filling in the details for the Binance Smart Chain.

Network Name: Smart Chain

New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/

ChainID: 56

Symbol: BNB

Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com

Having entered that all in, we can save and go back to the MetaMask main screen by exiting from the Settings page.

We are now set up for the Binance Smart Chain on MetaMask. Now you can purchase $BNB from Binance, KuCoin (or any other exchange that allows Smart Chain withdrawals and send them to your MetaMask wallet).

If you are unsure what your wallet address is, you can hover over to where you see "Account 1". Underneath that will be a string of numbers and letters that begin with "0x". Hovering over that will allow you to copy that address to your clipboard.

Click to copy your wallet address and paste it into a document. This is your public wallet address, which you will need when you decide to add funds to your MetaMask from an exchange like Binance.

The first field will be labelled "Address"; you must paste the wallet address you saved in the earlier steps. Make sure to select "Binance Smart Chain", and then enter the amount of $BNB you wish to fund your wallet. Proceed with the confirmation and wait a couple of minutes for the withdrawal.

Getting private key from mobile to import to desktop

Token Pocket lets you use both a desktop and mobile wallet. This section will cover how to get your private key from your mobile wallet to import into your desktop wallet.

  1. Tap the Me tab on the bottom ribbon and tap Manage Wallets.

**NEVER, in any situation, should you ever give someone your private key or recovery phrase ("seed phrase"). This will give someone complete access to your crypto!

Now you have your private key ready to import your wallet into the desktop version of Token Pocket.

Token Pocket Desktop Setup Guide

The desktop version of Token Pocket will ask you to import a private key. Please make sure you’re familiar with and understand the importance of a private key before you proceed.

Token Pocket is an open source project, so the code is publicly visible and generally considered safe. Even so, your private keys are your responsibility, so only use them with applications you trust and can verify.

  1. Visit the Token Pocket website on your PC and click the Desktop button.

  2. On the next page, click the button for your operating system and wait for your download to finish. This guide uses Windows, but the process is largely the same on Mac OS.

  3. Run the installation file. It will ask you to choose between making Token Pocket available to everyone using the computer, or just the current user. For your security, we recommend current user only.

  4. Enter a destination folder to install to and click Install.

  5. Once the installation is finished, click Finish and run Token Pocket.

  6. When Token Pocket opens, you may find yourself looking at a Chinese interface. You can change to English by clicking EN in the bottom-left corner.

  7. Token Pocket will be asking you to create a password. Make sure you use something that’s hard to guess; the longer the password is, the more secure. When you’re done, click Confirm.

  1. On the next page, Token Pocket will be asking you to import a private key. This may be intimidating, but Token Pocket will work as an interface for your existing wallet. You’ll need to get your private from whatever existing wallet you want to use.

Please be extremely careful with how you handle your private keys. Giving your private keys to someone will give them full access to your coins! Token Pocket is an open source project and will use your private key to import your wallet. Even so, only use your private key with applications you trust and can verify are legitimate!

  1. Once you’ve entered your private key, click the Ethereum network for now.
